Role Summary

The Senior Manager, Thought Leader Programming and Operations, US Kidney leads the planning, management, and implementation of peer to peer (P2P) educational events for two US Kidney pipeline assets (IgA nephropathy and AMKD). This role ensures successful and compliant execution of activities such as speaker programs, ad boards, congresses, and other Thought Leader engagements, collaborating with field sales and cross-functional partners. Reports to the Head of Market Development, US Kidney Business Unit.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees planning and execution of field-based activities such as speaker programs, ad boards, congresses, and other thought leader engagements.
  • Supports creation of speakersโ€šร„รด bureau including setup, training, management, and logistics.
  • Suggests new approaches to programming and market development activities to optimize resources and achieve objectives.
  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships with cross-functional colleagues, especially field sales, thought leader liaisons, medical, legal, and compliance.
  • Selects and partners with external agencies to drive program development, execution, and tracking.
  • Creates and submits materials for promotional review including new concepts and commercial materials.

Qualifications

  • Required: Typically 6+ years of experience in healthcare/biopharmaceuticals, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Required: Experience managing the operations of thought leader programs.
  • Required: Experience working in competitive markets.
  • Required: Knowledge of thought leader engagement practices.
  • Preferred: Rare disease or specialty product experience.
  • Preferred: Kidney experience.
