Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

Role: Senior Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting overseeing public company financial disclosures, compliance, and equity compensation accounting within a biopharma setting. Responsibilities: prepare and review SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, registration statements), ensure internal and external compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, manage equity administration including stock-based compensation, research technical accounting issues, support SOX controls, and collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams. Requirements: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, CPA, 5+ years in public accounting or biotech/pharma finance, strong U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting knowledge, familiarity with SEC disclosure modernization, and advanced Excel skills. Preferred: experience with stock-based compensation accounting, Workiva, and E*Trade Equity Edge. High-Value: experience in biotech/pharma public reporting, compliance with SEC and SOX, and supporting complex equity programs.
