Position: Senior Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting (Finance)

Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end preparation, review, and filing of Forms 10-K and 10-Q; support other SEC filings (8-K, annual proxy statement).
- Own external reporting components: financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, disclosure checklists, tie-out documentation, workpapers.
- Manage quarterly/annual reporting calendar; coordinate cross-functional inputs; resolve review comments.
- Research/analyze complex U.S. GAAP accounting matters; prepare technical accounting memos for management and auditors.
- Monitor U.S. GAAP/SEC updates; assess impact and implement related disclosures.
- Prepare materials for Audit Committee/Board/senior leadership.
- Serve as primary liaison with external auditors.
- Support SOX compliance (control design/operating effectiveness, documentation, stakeholder partnership).
- Oversee equity accounting and reporting (stock-based compensation, EPS, share calculations, equity disclosures).
- Oversee stock administration with transfer agent/equity platform/HR/Legal.
- Support month-end/quarter-end close; streamline processes, controls, and data quality.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Accounting/Finance or related); active CPA required.
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or public-company industry); biotech/life sciences strongly preferred.
- Strong U.S. GAAP + SEC reporting knowledge; experience with 10-K/10-Q and technical memos.
- Experience with stock-based comp, EPS/equity transactions, leases, and other complex/non-routine transactions.
- SOX/internal controls experience; strong written/verbal communication; strong project management.
- Preferred: NetSuite, equity administration platform, SEC reporting software.

Total Rewards:
- Expected base salary range: $162,000–$200,000.
