Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs US Advertising and Promotion - Immunology

Responsibilities:
- Capture and disseminate government/industry/trade association activities impacting pharmaceutical regulatory policies; draft/finalize timely regulator and trade association comments; distribute proposed policies to SMEs.
- Represent the department and participate in trade associations; develop relationships with trade association managers.
- Summarize findings in concise reports for internal distribution (under supervision).
- Oversee productivity and development of regulatory staff ensuring advertising and promotion materials are accurate, competitive, and compliant with CFR, FDA guidance, PhRMA Guiding Principles, and the FDA and cosmetic Act.
- Develop and guide implementation strategies for promotional activities.
- Apply regulatory/technical knowledge across therapeutic areas.
- Ensure departmental training and compliance with advertising/promotion regulations, guidance, promotional guidelines, and SOPs for self and direct reports; manage, train, and mentor staff.
- Present information to cross-functional groups; deliver difficult messages without damaging commercial relationships.
- Build relationships with management and key stakeholders (Marketing, Medical, Clinical, Legal, Sales Training, Managed Care, Public Affairs).
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days remote from Lake County, IL; Florham Park, NJ; or Irvine, CA.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in science plus 7 years relevant industry experience.
- Preferred: PharmD plus 5 years relevant industry experience.
- Experience in complex/matrix environment; strong negotiation and oral/written communication skills.
- Management experience preferred.
- Experience in US Regulatory Affairs Advertising and Promotion.
