Position Summary:
Senior Manager, People Success Partner—strategic advisor and hands-on partner to business leaders, aligning people strategies with business priorities and delivering day-to-day support to employees and managers.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to understand priorities, workforce needs, and growth opportunities; translate business goals into people strategies.
- Guide workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, restructurings, and change management.
- Advise on talent and performance topics (leadership development, performance management, career development, coaching/counseling, corrective action, retention); support hiring/promotion/succession discussions.
- Manage complex employee relations issues; conduct investigations; provide policy guidance; partner with Legal/Compliance as needed.
- Analyze people/trends data; manage Workday reporting; support rollout/interpretation/implementation of People Success programs; recommend process improvements.
- Support employee experience and culture through leader coaching and partnership.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree (business/behavioral sciences/law or related).
- 6+ years progressive HR experience; preferably Business Partner/HR Ops/Employee Relations; life sciences/biotech/pharma experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge across HR disciplines (comp/benefits, employee relations, diversity, performance management, HRIS, talent/L&D, compliance, employment laws including federal & California).
- HR Certified Professional (preferred).
