Senior Manager, PDS BI&T Architecture & Components

Role: Senior Manager, PDS BI&T Architecture & Components, a senior individual-contributor position within BMS's Product Development & Supply (PDS) organization, focusing on designing scalable, reusable platform architectures for analytics and digital products. Responsibilities: architect distributed multi-service platforms integrating AI, APIs, modern frontends, and autonomous workflows; develop backend (FastAPI), frontend (React), and platform components; integrate LLM providers, enable tool-calling, and ensure platform reusability and observability; collaborate cross-functionally with cloud, AI, data, and UX teams; provide technical mentorship and uphold platform governance and security standards. Qualifications: 6+ years of full-stack software engineering, deep experience with Python (asyncio), web frameworks, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS), and agentic orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph). Preferred: experience in regulated environments (GxP, GDPR), global teams, and agentic AI solutions, with cloud certifications advantageous. High-value biopharma specifics are limited; however, the role emphasizes AI/analytics platform development relevant to digital transformation in life sciences.
