Role Summary
- Senior Manager, Performance Analytics & Insights to support the breast cancer franchise within Oncology; accountable for tracking and interpreting commercial performance across the breast cancer portfolio and translating insights into actionable narratives for brand teams and senior leadership.
Role Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end performance reporting (brand sales, TRx/NPS, market share, attainment vs. targets) across weekly/monthly/quarterly cadences.
- Use secondary data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony, specialty pharmacy, hub/SP data) to identify trends, surface risks/opportunities, and connect data signals to brand strategy.
- Analyze performance by patient segments (histology, biomarkers, demographics, lines of therapy, etc.).
- Apply subnational analytics to identify geographic variation and actionable insights for brand strategy.
- Translate findings into business narratives with clear “so what” and recommendations.
- Support Oncology LT Dashboard and enterprise reporting infrastructure to ensure metrics are accurate, timely, decision-ready.
- Identify data anomalies, validate outputs, and ensure insights are accurate and reliable.
- Serve as secondary data analytics partner for brand positioning and strategic planning; partner with forecasting teams on demand trends, patient segment sizing, and market share.
- Identify emerging breast cancer trends (biomarker testing rates, treatment sequencing, competitive dynamics) and frame implications.
- Partner with insights/strategy to connect patient journey data to strategy and commercial priorities.
- Build stakeholder relationships and translate outputs for non-technical audiences.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate insight generation and automate routine reporting; evaluate new analytical methods/data sources.
- Guide and review vendor/internal collaborators; ensure consistent methodology and reporting standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (quantitative/business); Master’s preferred.
- 6+ years in biopharma commercial analytics, strategic consulting, or related field.
- Experience with secondary commercial data sources (IQVIA, Symphony Health, specialty pharmacy).
- Proficiency with Tableau/Power BI (or similar) to design decision-oriented dashboards.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings as business stories.
- Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day work.
- Experience in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s; prior breast cancer brand analytics/insights experience.
- Biomarker testing and molecular segmentation familiarity.
- Experience supporting commercial forecasting inputs.
- Patient journey/HUB-SP/access analytics familiarity.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or Alteryx.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, GCP) and enterprise BI.
