Position Summary
Senior Manager, Operations Research and Analytics Development (Analytics Development / PDS BI&T). Design, build, and scale core analytics tools serving multiple PDS verticals.

Key Responsibilities
- Apply operations research methods (MILP, DES, stochastic modeling, decision analysis under uncertainty) to complex use cases.
- Architect, implement, and maintain production Python codebases (modularity, testability, performance, reliability), including MILP/DES operationalization.
- Translate prototypes into robust production solutions via close collaboration with BI&T, platform teams, and peers.
- Use AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) to improve velocity while maintaining rigor and code comprehension.
- Establish/advance engineering best practices: CI/CD, code reviews, automated testing, linting, reproducible environments, technical documentation.
- Expose OR tools/workflows via an MCP server for secure agentic interactions/automation.
- Define/maintain standards for code quality, maintainability, and reliable deployment.
- Partner to identify/triage/prioritize deliverables aligned to strategy; communicate trade-offs and uncertainty.
- Mentor/coach junior team members; lead peer reviews and knowledge sharing; manage multiple workstreams.

Required Qualifications
- PhD in Operations Research/Applied Math/CS or related quantitative STEM.
- 2–3 years (preferably industry) deploying analytics/OR solutions.
- Strong production Python engineering.
- Git + modern collaborative workflows (PRs, code review, release/version management).
- Hands-on AI-assisted coding tool experience.
- Strong grounding in optimization/simulation/stochastic/risk modeling.
- Excellent written/verbal communication.

Preferred
- Pharma product development, supply chain, manufacturing, or demand/supply planning.
- AWS; full-stack analytics/platform development.
- Cloud-enabled analytics/data pipelines/data lake integration; SQL.
- Experience leading small teams.

Compensation/Benefits (explicit)
- $139,570–$169,126 (New Brunswick, NJ, US); additional incentive cash/stock may be available.
