Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Manage and assess the current global space portfolio to identify and prioritize opportunities for space efficiency and occupancy optimization.
- Drive portfolio scenario development and strategy refinement using utilization data, headcount forecasting, and space trends.
- Frame decision options, trade-offs, and recommended paths for senior leadership.
- Synthesize complex space portfolio data and workplace analytics into senior-ready strategic recommendations.
- Orchestrate required sequence of events with stakeholders; manage cross-workstream dependencies.
- Develop and execute executive presentations, strategic documents, and portfolio business cases.
- Improve analytical frameworks and portfolio planning tools; own team methodological approach.
- Partner cross-functionally (GREWS, Finance, HR, IT, Business Units) to coordinate strategy and planning.
- Resolve complex portfolio/space planning challenges using data and business context.
- Support site acquisition/divestiture planning related to occupancy or site closures.
- Serve as a digital champion; create/train on tools, methods, dashboards, and platforms.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in real estate, business, finance, urban planning, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in strategy and portfolio planning, workplace strategy, corporate real estate, or related.
- Advanced data analysis, space forecasting, and reporting; translate findings into strategic recommendations.
- Knowledge of corporate real estate, occupancy optimization, strategic portfolio planning, and workplace management.
- Strong written/verbal communication; prepare and deliver executive-level materials.
- Advanced analytical modeling and executive storytelling (Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent).
- Experience with IWMS systems or similar workplace management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree (or actively pursuing).
- Corporate real estate or consulting experience focused on space portfolio strategy.
- Green/sustainability familiarity related to portfolio strategy.
- Data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).
- Cross-functional project experience or team management.
