Role Summary

Senior Manager, Market Research and Analytics - Parkinson’s Disease. Role focuses on partnering with US Parkinson’s Disease leadership to deliver insights that inform brand strategy and identify opportunities through marketing analytics and measurement of brand strategies at national and sub-national levels.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as analytics partner to the US Parkinson‚Äôs Disease team‚Äì offering analytics solutions from reporting and tracking to advanced analytics in support of key business questions and strategies.
  • Derive findings and implications from patient, physician or account/practice analytics to strengthen commercial understanding of market dynamics, brand performance, and opportunities; contribute to quarterly business reviews and annual brand planning; develop fact-based recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Determine sub-national drivers of brand performance, providing drills and diagnostics to understand performance dynamics driven by customer behavior.
  • Leverage innovative analytic models addressing critical issues while meeting business and technical criteria (cost, risk, reliability, validity, predictability).
  • Demonstrate understanding of syndicated and AbbVie proprietary data, data science and modeling techniques; synthesize insights into compelling narratives; manage suppliers and stakeholders to drive learnings and strategic recommendations.
  • Inform the brand planning process with deep understanding of the patient journey and stakeholder influences; develop plans to prioritize insights gaps.
  • Maintain curiosity for new methodologies and expand analytics toolkit to better serve the business.
  • Ensure all marketing research and analytics activities comply with financial and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor‚Äôs Degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in quantitative analysis of sales and marketing information; pharma/biotech industry experience required.
  • Strong analytical reasoning, curiosity, business acumen, and problem-solving creativity.
  • Experience with 3rd party pharmaceutical data sources (IQVIA/SHS, etc.) and specialty pharmacy data preferred.
  • Experience with analytics methods and tools (Power BI or Tableau; Excel); machine learning experience a plus.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills; able to collaborate with and present to senior management.
  • Advanced agility, project management, prioritization, and vendor management skills.
  • High motivation, strong work ethic, positive attitude under tight timelines; proven team collaboration.
