Senior Manager, Information Security Portfolio Management
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the ISRM portfolio management framework (intake, prioritization, scheduling, dependency tracking) and keep an accurate, continuously updated view of the portfolio.
- Deliver executive-facing portfolio dashboards, status reports, and portfolio data products covering health, financials, and delivery performance.
- Own and coordinate annual portfolio planning (LRP and Capital Plan submissions), managing timelines and stakeholder inputs; partner on investment rationale.
- Identify and surface portfolio risks, dependencies, and resource constraints; facilitate prioritization and escalation.
- Build and maintain a departmental service catalog.
- Lead and develop the ISRM PMO team (project/program managers), including coaching, performance oversight, career development, and resource planning.
- Establish and continuously improve PMO standards, methodologies, and delivery governance.
- Ensure accurate project-level financial tracking (budget consumption; capital/expense classification) with ISRM finance.
- Serve as primary escalation point for delivery issues and cross-functional blockers/dependencies.
- Partner to ensure portfolio data and planning outputs support strategic decision-making and executive communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 8 years OR Master’s + 7 years OR PhD + 3 years.
- 4+ years in portfolio management/PMO leadership (or related) managing and developing PM teams.
- Experience managing a multi-million-dollar IT/cyber/information security portfolio with budget tracking and capital/expense planning.
- Ability to create executive-level portfolio reporting.
- Enterprise PPM tools (e.g., Clarity, Jira, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of PMI/Agile/SAFe in a portfolio context.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
Preferred
- Info security/cyber/IT risk portfolio/program experience; NIST CSF/ISO 27001/Zero Trust familiarity.
- PMP/PfMP (or equivalent); PMO maturation experience; support for globally distributed teams.
