Job Summary:
Senior Manager, Information Security—lead, govern, mature, and continuously improve the Company’s Information Security Program. Hands-on role balancing cybersecurity strategy, governance, compliance, and personnel leadership with technical operations to ensure operational continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mature the enterprise Information Security Program.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and governance.
- Own the cybersecurity roadmap and maintain the enterprise risk register.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop cybersecurity personnel.
- Provide technical oversight of security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, vendor assessments, and security platforms.
- Maintain hands-on proficiency with enterprise security technologies; provide operational backup when required.
- Lead audits, penetration testing, tabletop exercises, and remediation planning.
- Develop executive metrics and cybersecurity reporting.
- Partner with business stakeholders to integrate cybersecurity into business operations.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise Information Security personnel (hiring, onboarding, coaching, mentoring, performance management, career development, work prioritization, day-to-day leadership).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity/IT/Computer Science (or related) or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years progressive cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years leading security programs/projects/technical teams.
- Regulated biotech/pharma/healthcare/life sciences experience preferred.
- CISSP strongly preferred.
Skills:
- Cybersecurity governance and risk management; security operations & incident response; Microsoft 365 & cloud security; vendor risk management; security architecture; executive communication; strategic planning; leadership/mentoring.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $130,000–$170,000 USD.
