Position Summary
- The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner supports commercial, clinical, or corporate functions by delivering high-quality HR partnership and executing people strategies that enable business performance and growth, with a focus on employee relations, talent processes, and organizational effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR partner to Director and Senior Director leaders within assigned functions.
- May supervise HR team members/HRBP associates (coaching, performance management, development).
- Execute HR strategies and programs supporting business objectives, workforce needs, and employee engagement.
- Provide day-to-day employee relations support (investigations, conflict resolution, performance management guidance).
- Coach managers on performance management, feedback, team effectiveness, and employee development.
- Support talent processes (performance reviews, talent calibration, succession planning).
- Partner on workforce planning (headcount management and organizational changes).
- Support organizational design changes (restructures and role clarity).
- Partner with Total Rewards on compensation programs (including incentives for commercial teams).
- Support HR program rollouts (engagement surveys, performance cycles, compensation reviews).
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development).
- Use HR data and dashboards to monitor trends and provide basic insights.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years progressive HR experience (HRBP/generalist).
- 5+ years in an HR supervisory role.
- Experience supporting commercial, sales, clinical, or other fast-paced business functions.
- Employee relations, performance management, and manager coaching experience.
- Ability to execute HR programs in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic Internet use.

Preferred Qualifications
- Life sciences/diagnostics/biotech/healthcare experience.
- Experience with geographically dispersed/field-based teams.
- SHRM-CP or PHR.
- Workday or similar HRIS experience.

- Periodic travel; may require work outside standard hours.
