Role Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the enterprise directory services roadmap; modernize legacy infrastructure; establish directory design/governance standards; lead consolidation and migration.
- Oversee design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of directory services (scalability, resiliency, integration with internal/third-party services).
- Collaborate with IT/security/development/product teams to deliver directory capabilities for new and existing platforms; provide secure access management best-practice guidance.
- Ensure directory solutions align with security/compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST); lead security controls for authentication/authorization.
- Manage vendor/third-party relationships for implementation and support.
- Lead incident investigation and resolution for directory functionality; implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Improve user experience by simplifying login processes while maintaining high-security standards; reduce friction and increase adoption.
- Define and report KPIs for directory performance and security metrics.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (relevant discipline).
- 6+ years in identity & access management; 4+ years focused on directory solutions; IAM/security/authentication experience supporting 50,000+ users.
- Deep knowledge of directory technologies (LDAP/LDAPS, schema, replication, GPOs) and PKI; familiarity with Microsoft AD, AD LDS, and Azure AD.
- Ability to solve complex authentication/authorization problems in a global environment.
- Security best practices for identity management (encryption, tokenization, secure protocols).
- Experience leading IAM support/engineering/operations teams in a global business unit.
- Knowledge of SOX and GxP quality regulations.
- Proven ability to manage long-term complex projects and hold stakeholders accountable; agile mindset.

Preferred Qualifications
- Masterโ€™s degree (relevant discipline).
- Deep expertise in Microsoft solutions.
