Role Summary

Lead patient-facing digital initiatives for AbbVie’s international Affiliates, including myAbbVieCare, AbbVie Care Connect, and the Patient Automated Care Experience (PACE) framework. Shape the digital patient experience strategy across AbbVie’s international therapeutics portfolio and collaborate with international and local Affiliate teams to design, deploy, and enhance scalable digital initiatives that elevate how patients engage with their care and prescribed treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the business owner for myAbbVie Care, the template for patient-facing websites across International Affiliates (used in over 20 applications and portals, including SaMD platforms).
  • Oversee localization and activation of digital patient initiatives in international markets, aligning with technical scope, legal/compliance, and regulatory requirements to drive launch readiness.
  • Drive global expansion through a structured activation framework, ensuring governance and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with International Medical, Legal, OEC and Regulatory Affairs (MLOR) to maintain compliance with brand updates and international standards.
  • Co-create with affiliate Patient Experience Leads to gather feedback, drive product enhancements, and guide program evolution based on patient insights.
  • Own the PACE framework from discovery to execution, developing its blueprint, cross-market playbook, and roadmap for expansion.
  • Own AbbVie Care Connect, guiding discovery, UX/UI design, use cases, localization plans, and Wave 2 expansion roadmap for 2026.
  • Leverage platform data to establish a digital maturity and impact framework, supporting data-driven improvements in partnership with product and affiliate teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracting, budgeting, and timelines; drive operational efficiencies through automation and localization to reduce time-to-market and cut costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Health, Life Sciences, or related Business field; master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in digital health or significant Affiliate/global PSP patient-facing operations.
  • Strong track record in digital program delivery with expertise in regulatory compliance, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor management.
  • Strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, and strong execution capabilities.
