Role Summary

Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Operations who drives operational excellence in digital initiatives for the Oncology Business Unit. Manages the efficient delivery of digital programs in line with global standards, collaborating with digital marketing capability leads and Brand leads to meet shared goals. Converts business objectives into compliant, impactful digital campaigns and experiences across channels, including marketing automation, websites, paid media, and analytics. An individual contributor who uses a data-driven, omnichannel approach to build a digital roadmap of learning and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic digital operations partner to Oncology brand leads, translating business requirements into multi-channel digital campaigns, experiences, and solutions (SFMC, Web, Paid Media, Analytics, Content Production).
  • Oversee end-to-end campaign or project delivery—from requirements gathering to execution—ensuring on-time, within-budget, high-quality outcomes.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to optimize ROI.
  • Collaborate with digital project managers to maintain detailed project plans, track milestones, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and global digital standards across initiatives.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies in partnership with the Digital Marketing Operations team.
  • Drive digital innovation by promoting emerging technologies, capabilities, and agility within the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with Marketing, Operations, Technology, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on digital marketing operations best practices, processes, and systems, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends and identify opportunities to enhance capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Digital Strategy and Customer Experience teams on SOP development, rollout, and training.

Qualifications

  • Required: Basic Qualifications — Bachelor’s Degree and Eight Years’ Experience; OR Master’s Degree and Six Years’ Experience; OR Ph.D.
  • Preferred: Proven experience in digital marketing with understanding of channels and technologies (Marketing Automation including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Web, Paid Media, Social SEO/SEM); strong client-facing experience; exceptional presentation and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders; strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities; strong project management (PMP preferred); experience in regulated industries (pharmaceuticals/healthcare) with knowledge of FDA guidelines and U.S. data privacy regulations; proven ability to lead multiple projects; experience driving digital transformation and managing change; strong organizational skills; proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Note: Roles require local to the Bay Area; relocation assistance is not available.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in highly regulated industries (pharmaceuticals or healthcare) with thorough knowledge of FDA guidelines and U.S. data privacy regulations.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Willingness to stay current on digital marketing trends and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
