Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply computational methods for patient segmentation from multimodal clinical and omics datasets for treatment modalities.
- Partner with statisticians to write/review/execute protocols and statistical analysis plans (SAP) for biomarkers and diagnostics; highlight biomarker strategy for clinical drug development.
- Execute biomarker analyses on clinical trial and real-world data cohorts.
- Perform innovative statistical analyses on high-dimensional data (e.g., gene expression, sequencing).
- Contribute to drug development strategy, including predictive biomarker(s) and precision medicine.
- Optimize and validate biomarker assays for clinical trial usage.
- Develop and implement state-of-the-art algorithms to address business problems and advance statistical methods supporting biomarker strategy.
- Formulate, test, and validate predictive models; implement automated processes to produce results at scale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinicians, data scientists, translational medicine, statisticians, IT).
- Manage and coordinate resources to deliver quality work on competing priorities.
Key Requirements:
- Ph.D. in a relevant quantitative field (or Master’s with equivalent experience).
- Strong experience analyzing -omics/molecular assay data.
- Knowledge of molecular biology and disease pathways (preferred).
- Biomarker analysis experience using clinical trial data or electronic health records.
- Experience with AI/ML; proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and cloud platforms.
- Experience building statistical/ML models for high-dimensional/high-throughput time-to-event and longitudinal outcomes.
- Strong communication, presentation/visualization; collaborative and independent problem-solving.
