Senior Manager, Data Science, AbbVie Inc., North Chicago, IL (Hybrid: onsite 3 days/week, 2 days WFH)

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver biomarker analysis expertise for clinical studies.
- Extract relevant clinical and biomarker data from diverse databases and enable advanced visualization with descriptive statistical analysis.
- Identify patterns to empower real-time, data-driven decisions during clinical development.
- Develop R and Python programs to extract ADaM datasets and generate tables, listings, and figures.
- Create advanced visualizations in Spotfire to reveal data patterns.

Qualifications:
- Education: MS in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 1 year as a data scientist leading data science analysis and advanced visualization.
- 1 year of experience with:
- R and Python programming concepts/techniques related to drug development.
- Exploring and visualizing ADaM datasets in Spotfire.
- Providing data science analysis support for Phase I, II, and III clinical trials.
- Producing visualization and descriptive statistics with clinical outputs (tables, listings, figures) using R and Python.
- Collaborating with scientists to interpret visualizations and statistical findings to guide clinical development decisions.
