Position Responsibilities:
- Define and lead AI-powered Engineering & Development across CRM capabilities (Veeva CRM UIX) delivering measurable business value.
- Champion AI-first engineering: AI coding assistants, LLM-augmented workflows, automated testing.
- Drive platform simplification and intelligent automation; rationalize legacy configurations.
- Lead agentic AI experiments and enterprise pilots for CRM workflows, data enrichment, routing, and recommendations via CRM APIs/third-party sources.
- Establish AI governance and responsible AI frameworks for compliance (privacy, explainability, validated systems).
- Lead end-to-end UIX strategy/architecture and development for Veeva CRM field interfaces (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, Veeva JS SDK, Java SDK).
- Define/enforce UI design standards, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns.
- Lead Veeva CRM administration (users/territories, security models, workflows, approvals, automation, SSO, reporting, data loading).
- Govern environments (sandbox/UAT/staging/production) with change management aligned to validated standards.
- Lead custom development and CRM integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware, event-driven, batch exchange) across systems (MDM, ERP, AI/ML, Vault, Salesforce).
- Drive CI/CD, DevOps, and GxP/GCP-compliant release automation.
- Lead innovation forums and set technical vision/roadmap; prototype and demonstrate new CRM/AI capabilities.
- Manage global teams; manage vendors/partners; partner cross-matrix IT and business teams; drive delivery governance and executive-ready communication.
Requirements (Required):
- Bachelorโs in CS/IT/Software Engineering or related.
- 9+ years IT experience; senior technical leadership.
- 5+ years hands-on Veeva CRM (platform admin, UIX/MyInsights/X-Pages, custom dev, security, workflows, SSO, permissions, reports/dashboards, integrations).
- 3+ years custom development (Java/Java SDK, JavaScript or equivalent).
- 1+ years applied AI/ML, intelligent automation, or Generative AI.
- 4+ years SDLC (Agile/Waterfall) in regulated life sciences; cloud-native development.
- CRM integration experience (REST/SOAP/middleware/event-driven).
- Experience leading global distributed teams.
- At least 2 relevant technical certifications.
- Strong written/verbal communication and leadership presence.
Additionally Preferred:
- Life Science CRM expertise; AI/ML integration into CRM UIX.
- CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- MDM/CRM data governance exposure.
- Life sciences/pharma/healthcare commercial workflow knowledge; extra Veeva/Vault/Salesforce/cloud certifications.
- Agile tooling (Jira/Confluence/Azure Boards) and matrixed stakeholder/vendor management.
