The Senior Manager of Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Operations will manage execution of processes delivering performance-based analytics within the Technical Operations organization. Responsibilities include managing the product costing process to support strategic business planning, standard costing, and annual planning cycles. Collaborating with FP&A and the Director of Inventory and Manufacturing, the role will create and deploy a financial analytical framework for Technical Operations. The position supervises the costing group and oversees all financial aspects of inventory and manufacturing operations for commercial and clinical programs, including cost accounting, and manages financial accounting processes, policies, procedures, internal controls, forecasting, budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.

Opportunity to Make a Difference:
- Develop business partner relationships with Manufacturing, QA, QC, and Process Development.
- Manage a financial performance management platform for Technical Operations.
- Lead the Inventory and Manufacturing Finance Costing Team.
- Manage monthly accounting close (inventory, manufacturing, clinical trials) in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Analyze/validate Oracle inventory transactions.
- Develop/maintain standard cost accounting and investigate actual-to-standard variances.
- Work with third-party vendors for accurate monthly reports.
- Develop/maintain inventory cycle counting.
- Provide analytics, forecasting, and budgeting recommendations.
- Maintain/improve internal accounting controls for inventory and manufacturing.
- Lead Oracle ERP (Oracle Process Manufacturing) enhancements/expansions.
- Manage internal/external reporting and support external audit functions; develop monthly inventory reports and monthly flux analytics.

More About You:
- Bachelorโ€™s and/or masterโ€™s in accounting/finance (or similar).
- 7โ€“9 yearsโ€™ manufacturing and inventory/finance experience with growing responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle OPM Financials module.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost accounting; U.S. GAAP required.
- Knowledge of accounting statements and financial reporting in biotech/pharma strongly encouraged.
- Advanced Excel-based modeling and strong computer skills.
- Strong organizational/project management; meet deadlines.
- Strong communication/interpersonal and managerial skills.
- Strong understanding of SOX controls.

Additional:
- Hybrid role; on-site at U.S. facilities and occasional in-person events.
- Targeted salary range: $136,000โ€“$170,000/year.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. required.
