Senior Manager, Collaboration Management (Research)
Specific Responsibilities:
- Serve as manager for a portfolio of partnered programs within the Collaboration Management team.
- Ensure involvement of key stakeholders; contribute to technical success; drive projects to best outcomes.
- Organize and manage joint project team meetings to review status, identify issues/risks, and problem-solve.
- Partner with Collaboration Leaders to ensure timely, effective meetings and adequate progress between meetings.
- Collaborate with internal core R&D functions and Alliance Management to monitor/manage progress toward defined program goals.
- Maintain integrated timelines; understand functional interdependencies, risks, and assumptions.
- Manage development of documentation to support decision-making.
- Determine readiness for program review at governance meetings, including review of critical new data and strategy changes.
- Monitor/manage readiness for licensing/internalization and coordinate internalization activities.
- Drive efficient communication within the team and with functions, collaborators, and leadership stakeholders.
- Manage IP filing opportunities; contribute to MTAs and amendments as required.
- Contribute to internal/external portfolio tracking materials and portfolio-related data management.
Essential Duties/Job Functions:
- Support multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Be well-organized with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal plus written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical project management principles and standards.
- In-depth Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Microsoft Project/reporting tools preferred.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
- BA/BS + 8+ years OR MS/MBA + 6+ years OR PhD (scientific) (or PharmD/DVM/MD).
- Project leadership/management experience in pharmaceutical industry R&D.
- Strong scientific acumen; leadership skills/emotional intelligence.
- Broad understanding of industry/competitive landscape.
- Cross-functional project team experience; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Benefits/Compensation (explicitly stated):
- Salary range: $169,320.00 - $219,120.00; may be eligible for discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
