Role Summary
Senior Manager, Clinical Supply Chain, Logistics at BeOne. Leads depot storage, distribution, return/destruction and related depot performance management in AMER regions. Collaborates with Supply Chain Lead and depot PM to set up distribution and return/destruction procedures for studies, ensuring compliance and efficient logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Focus on Depot storage, site distribution, drug return & destruction and logistics performance management in AMER regions.
- Work with Supply Chain Lead and depot PM to set up distribution and return/destruction procedures for studies in line with logistics procedures.
- Coordinate regular depot-level drug destruction, archive certificates of destruction and disposition reports in e-TMF accurately and timely.
- Manage depot monthly reports, conduct regular stock-taking and reconciliation for depot storage.
- Support Storage Insurance data calculation and reporting.
- Coordinate or organize site-to-site transfer shipments as needed.
- Arrange onboarding trainings for new depot vendors as required.
- Support new system development and maintain logistics data/functions in existing system.
- Collaborate with QA, Finance, Tax, Procurement, Legal and RA on logistics issues; coordinate with Customs and FDA as needed.
- Coordinate internal/external functions for Import/Export permit applications; understand how to use IRT to check shipment status.
- Ensure accurate and timely logistics data entry and document uploads in BeOne systems.
- Support BeOne IOR and import tax deferral setup; manage IOR in different countries and assist with import VAT refunds as needed.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations related to import/export; raise compliance issues as needed.
- Lead and measure processes to ensure logistics operations are performed with excellence; collaborate with QA to ensure audit readiness and process control for import/export activities.
- Support SCL on FDA inspections, internal audits and external audits as needed for logistics data preparation.
- Coordinate with courier and depot vendors on shipping services, temperature data loggers, pickup appointments, expedited orders, and emergencies.
- Manage and assess Depot vendor performance and report Depot KPIs to senior management.
- Identify and manage issues/risks related to cross-border movements; set up deviations, corrective and preventive actions in BeOne quality system; investigate incidents with internal/external parties.
- Oversee daily expenses to ensure efficient use of financial resources.
- Review training materials, WI, SOP, and GS to ensure alignment with job requirements; respond to managerial directions and seek clarification when needed.
- Stay up to date with role requirements; schedule regular alignment meetings with line manager/functional owners; evaluate task accuracy and timeliness.
- Respond to urgent requests/GL approvals within 24 hours; reply to emails within 2 working days; monitor tasks to meet deadlines.
- Maximize productivity using tools (Outlook, OneNote, Excel, Smartsheet, eLogistics); participate in cross-functional training; complete WI/SOP/GS trainings in LMS and BeOne University.
- Perform other duties in a dynamic startup environment.
- Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above with 7+ years of related experience.
- Essential: experience in clinical supply chain, storage, distribution, return/destruction, and depot management.
- Preferred: Mandarin proficiency.
