Senior Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics

Responsibilities:
- Transform data into actionable insights and recommendations; process, cleanse, and verify data integrity; communicate results of complex analytical models to improve Operations performance.
- Manage front and back-end activities; design, architect, and develop custom low-code and no-code analytics solutions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by communicating insights and information orally and in writing.
- Provide management and hands-on expert assistance to developers, designers, front/back-end leads, and systems analysts.
- Lead internal and external teams with detailed development estimates and solution development activities.
- Ensure compliance with SLC, inter IT audit, and other AbbVie policies and procedures.
- Establish governance and guidelines, including a Community of Excellence (COE), for effective analytics use, ODP platform integration, and integration with core AbbVie systems.
- Work with minimal oversight; deliverables and relationships reviewed periodically.
- Supervise, motivate, and mentor BI delivery tower developers and testers (internal/external).
- Manage budget, provide leadership status reports, and participate in project intake.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s (Software Engineering/Business/Information Systems or related) + 8 years; or Master’s + 7 years; or PhD + 3 years.
- Proficiency with technologies for integration, visualization, and analysis of large/complex datasets.
- Deep understanding of web services architecture/design, including security-based implementations.
- Track record leading medium to large workstreams with business and technical teams.
- Experience managing onshore/offshore/nearshore resources in a multi-vendor environment.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to completion.
- Service Operations experience in multi-sourced/multi-project environments.
- Experience managing DevOps teams using approved CI/CD tools.
- BI tools: PowerBI, Qlik, Spotfire.
- Snowflake and ability to write/analyze SQL.
- Data catalog/ingestion/streaming/pipeline/orchestration tools (Informatica, Autosys, Alation).
- Experience with master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling.
- Data quality tools (data profiling, cleansing, identity resolution).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred:
- Experience with Dataiku and Tableau.
- Experience with Life Sciences Pharmaceutical Commercial and Sales Operations (including Sales insights).
