Senior Manager, Business Assessment - Vaccines

Role: Senior Manager in Business Assessment (BA) within Pfizer's Global Commercial Analytics, specializing in generating independent pipeline and business development investment cases. Responsibilities: build and own comprehensive commercial assessments—including epidemiology, uptake, pricing, and risk-adjusted NPV models—partner with cross-functional teams (R&D, commercial strategy, BD) for rigorous analysis, defend independent positions (supporting or challenging opportunities), and present findings to senior leadership. Lead or co-lead BD commercial subteams, integrate forecast assumptions, utilize AI tools for analysis efficiency and traceability, and conduct primary market research with key stakeholders. Scope covers vaccines—focusing on recommendation-driven uptake, public/private market dynamics, epidemiology, seasonality, and tender markets—as well as other therapeutic areas like oncology, inflammation, and immunology, with exposure to emerging technologies and modalities. Qualifications: 6+ years (Bachelor’s) or 5+ years (Master’s) experience in biopharma, consulting, or analytical roles; advanced Excel skills; experience in quantitative forecast modeling, epidemiology data, and presenting to executives. Preferred: prior biopharma forecasting, life sciences consulting, MBA or advanced life sciences degree, vaccine forecasting expertise, AI/LLM tooling proficiency, Python/R/SQL skills, and experience influencing in matrix organizations.
