About the role
Senior Manager, Analytical Operations (reports to Senior Director, Analytical Development and Quality Control). Lead routine analytical testing and oversee day-to-day operations of the Analytical Operations laboratory.

What youโ€™ll do
- Collaborate with Analytical Development and Site Operations on laboratory buildout, maintenance, and expansion; budget for reagents, consumables, and capital equipment.
- Oversee equipment installation, qualification, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management (calibration and maintenance).
- Plan, schedule, and execute routine analytical testing to meet turnaround times for Process Development/MSAT and Research.
- Ensure accurate and complete testing documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Develop and monitor operational metrics to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
- Implement semi-automated/automated assay performance monitoring and control trending.
- Lead, coach, and manage team performance.
- Prioritize multiple projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Promote scientific rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement; contribute to hiring.

What weโ€™re looking for
- Bachelorโ€™s degree + 7+ years relevant experience (or equivalent).
- Cell therapy experience (or related field).
- Strong analytical testing background, including flow cytometry and cell-based assays.
- Experience with assay performance monitoring and data trending tools.
- Experience managing direct reports and supporting career development.
- Collaborative stakeholder management across Analytical Development, Process Development, and/or Research.
- Working knowledge of regulatory/quality requirements (FDA, ICH, USP/EP).
