Position Summary
Americas Benefits Process and Product Design (Benefits PPD) manages comprehensive, customer-centric benefits programs through strategic planning, financial acumen, and vendor management. Own vendor management, regulatory compliance, data management, vendor relations, and budget oversight, including carrier performance evaluation, benefit comparisons, and M&A benefits integration.
Detailed Position Responsibilities
- Develop metrics for cost-of-service delivery, administration, and vendor utilization.
- Lead vendor management and contract renewals; ensure SLAs are exceeded.
- Evaluate carrier performance, processes, and employee experience; establish cost metrics.
- Build vendor/carrier partnerships across the Americas.
- Ensure compliance with legislative/regulatory changes; maintain documentation; manage compliance notices.
- Oversee data collection for pension governance, actuarial requirements, and plan compliance; resolve escalations.
- Coordinate benefits messaging with Corporate Communications; implement communication plans to improve awareness and utilization.
- Support process improvement, automation, and standardization; leverage technology to increase participation and engagement and reduce costs.
- Serve as subject matter expert for renewals, data analytics, and local compliance.
- Lead post-close activities for 401(k) and health & well-being plans; guide M&A benefit standardization; lead defined benefit pension derisking and standard processes.
Qualifications
Must have:
- 5β7 years in benefits administration, vendor management, and compliance.
- Deep knowledge of pension governance, actuarial requirements, and plan compliance.
- Proven ability to develop communication strategies.
- Knowledge of health & well-being assessment tools/interventions.
- Experience with benefits standards/policies for M&A integration.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-year projects.
- Strong organization, leadership, communication, customer focus, and financial acumen.
Ideal:
- Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent experience).
- Consulting/influence and strong stakeholder management.
- Workday, ServiceNow, Online Benefits Admin/Darwin, ADP experience.
- Ability to present complex information clearly.
