Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of machine learning and AI models, from problem framing through deployment and ongoing evaluation.
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and cross-functional partners to design and deliver AI solutions aligned to business and scientific needs.
- Identify high-value AI opportunities that enhance Commercial, Medical, and enterprise-level processes.
- Build and optimize AI agents and orchestration workflows using agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI).
- Develop modular, reusable components for reasoning, retrieval, tool integration, and workflow automation.
- Develop end-to-end agentic frameworks including agent connectors, MCP tools, and integrated interfaces (with the Agentic UI team).
- Design and deploy ML models for recommendation, personalization, and other decision-support systems.
- Apply modern ML techniques (embeddings, graph methods, generative model integration) to healthcare and Commercial challenges.
- Partner with data engineering to ensure scalable ML-ready pipelines and model monitoring; use platforms such as Databricks for model development, optimization, and operationalization.
- Translate complex AI concepts for technical and non-technical partners; align initiatives with governance, privacy, and compliance.
Qualifications
Required
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related.
- 7+ years in data science and applied machine learning.
- 3+ years deploying ML/AI systems in production.
- 1+ year hands-on agentic AI development (LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI).
- Experience with patient-level data and feature engineering.
- Experience building recommender systems or related ML approaches.
- Proficiency in Python; ML (PyTorch, Scikit-learn, MLflow) and data tools (Spark, SQL).
- Collaborative, strong communication; experience in Healthcare/Life Sciences.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Databricks and modern cloud-based ML.
- Experience deploying Agents to production.
- Proven track record building AI solutions in Healthcare/Life Sciences.
