Responsibilities / How youโll spend your day:
- Support accurate and timely monthly/quarterly closings for Teva USA and subsidiaries; supervise/review Global Business Service partners, prepare journal entries, working papers, schedules, reconciliations, departmental analysis, and assist internal consolidation (including intercompany reporting and FX).
- Participate in North American consolidation; prepare quarterly analyses, disclosure forms, and quarterly flux analyses.
- Collaborate with Corporate Accounting and other departments; perform and document technical accounting research and assess impact to North American financials.
- Investigate/resolve GL issues; support stakeholders with accounting questions and financial analyses.
- Research and review impact of new technical accounting standards; assist with adoption and compliance with accounting policies/procedures.
- Support annual/quarterly auditor reviews; maintain SOX compliance documentation for areas of responsibility.
- Participate in innovative technology solutions; other duties as assigned (e.g., statutory financial statements).
Primary outcomes:
- Timely/accurate accounting data and analysis for external financial statement consolidation.
- Timely/accurate information for external auditors.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Bachelorโs degree in accounting or related field (required).
- CPA or MBA (preferred).
- 6+ years accounting and/or auditing experience (public accounting or equivalent) (required).
- SAP experience (required).
- US GAAP knowledge and experience with accounting consolidations (required).
- Excellent communication/organizational skills; experience supervising/leading staff.
- Proficiency: Excel, SAP, Power Query, Power BI, BPC, and other analytical tools.
