Senior Manager, Accounting

Role: Senior Manager of Accounting overseeing financial operations, compliance, and strategic support within a biopharma context. Responsibilities: manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; oversee daily accounting activities including cash, investments, payroll, and complex journal entries; ensure GAAP compliance and accurate general ledger recording; review fixed assets, lease accounting, and support foreign subsidiary reporting; prepare audit schedules, analyze reconciliations, and serve as primary liaison for auditors. Contribute to system improvements and handle ad hoc projects such as tax filings. Requirements: Bachelor’s in accounting or related field; 7+ years of finance/accounting experience, ideally within biotech/pharma industries; CPA preferred. Skills: strong US GAAP knowledge, internal controls (SOX 404), proficiency in Excel and accounting software (NetSuite, FloQast, etc.); detailed-oriented with analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
