Senior Legal Counsel US

Role: Lead US Commercial and Medical Legal Business Partner, supporting Outlook Therapeutics' upcoming US launch of ophthalmic products for wet AMD. Responsibilities: draft and negotiate commercial, promotional, and vendor contracts; advise on launch readiness, market access, and partnership structures; review promotional and scientific materials for legal and regulatory compliance; support Medical Affairs activities such as investigator-sponsored studies, grants, and scientific communications; ensure healthcare compliance with FDA and other regulations; improve legal processes, manage external counsel, and serve as primary legal contact for Commercial and Medical teams. Requirements: JD from an accredited law school, active US bar membership, 8+ years in-house or law firm experience in pharma/biotech, with specific expertise supporting specialty pharma or ophthalmology launches; strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, including Anti-Kickback, False Claims Act, and transparency laws; experience drafting commercial agreements; ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: experience with Medical Affairs functions, scientific exchange, and promotional review committees.
