The Position
Provides financial and analytical support across the investment lifecycle for DPM US to enable effective capital allocation and portfolio decision-making. Supports development/evaluation of business cases, portfolio transparency, month-end investment reporting, and adherence to investment governance standards using the PEM model and Clarity.

Essential Functions
- Act as a finance partner supporting investment decision-making across the investment lifecycle.
- Support development/evaluation of business cases aligned to the PEM model (assumptions, cost estimates, risks, benefits).
- Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessments for investment opportunities.
- Support consistent application of investment governance policies, processes, and approval requirements.
- Maintain/update investment data in Clarity with completeness, accuracy, and alignment to approved business cases and timelines.
- Support month-end close through consolidation and reconciliation of investment financials.
- Prepare investment reporting/analysis (deviations from plan, key drivers, risks, cost optimization/value improvement opportunities).
- Track project progress, financial phasing, and strategic alignment for portfolio transparency.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Production/Operations to reflect operational reality in financial assumptions.
- Identify inconsistencies/risks in data/assumptions/execution and escalate appropriately.
- Provide financial input for capital allocation trade-offs, constraints, and sequencing.
- Monitor financial performance vs. business case expectations (costs, timelines, milestones).
- Support post-investment reviews/lessons learned and continuous improvement of processes/tools.
- Ensure alignment between investment financials, accounting treatment, and reporting requirements.
- Follow all safety & environmental requirements.

Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field + 8 years experience in Investment/Coporate/Capital Project Finance, Business Finance, Portfolio Management, Management Consulting, or Strategic Finance.
- Proven experience developing/evaluating complex business cases.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, capital investment analysis, portfolio management, strategic planning, investment governance, and risk assessment.
- Advanced analytical/problem-solving; excellent communication/stakeholder management; professional English proficiency.
- If no Master’s: Bachelor’s degree + 10 years experience (same fields).

Preferred:
- Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/manufacturing/engineering or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience supporting large-scale capital investments/expansion programs; project management/capital project execution.
- Presenting recommendations to senior leadership/governance boards.
- Experience with portfolio management tools and advanced analytics platforms.
- MBA or CFA or similar.
