Position Summary
As a Senior Inventory Analyst β Inventory Accuracy & Compliance, you will own inventory integrity for the division, partnering with warehouse operations, production, QC, and accounting to deliver audit-ready records, sustain location/lot accuracy, and reduce shrink and aging risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Cycle Count Program Ownership: Build/maintain an ABC/usage-based schedule; define recount rules and performance standards; run weekly waves.
- Inventory Accuracy & Reconciliation: Monitor location/lot accuracy daily; reconcile variances to source transactions; maintain an audit trail.
- Discrepancy Investigation & RCA: Lead root-cause analysis (5 Whys, fishbone) and corrective actions across receiving, put-away, picking, production backflush, and shipping.
- Traceability & Compliance: Maintain lot/serial identification, labeling, and records for MRB support and SOX/internal/external audits.
- ERP/WMS Stewardship: Validate master data (UOM, BOM, locations, lot rules); ensure transaction discipline; support ECO/BOM changes impacting consumption.
- Reporting & Insights: Build Power BI/Excel/SQL dashboards/reports for inventory accuracy, variance aging, count productivity, and E&O/scrap; drive prioritized actions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Weekly huddles with Warehouse/Production/QC/Finance; escalate blockers and communicate risks/status.
- SOPs, Training & Mentorship: Author/update SOP/WI; coach cycle count associates and floor leads.
- Continuous Improvement & Projects: Lead kaizen events for labeling, layout, scanning, and data quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related.
- 7+ years inventory control/analysis in manufacturing; end-to-end ABC/usage-based cycle counts; discrepancy RCA/closure; ERP (MAS or similar) transactions; lot/serial traceability; kanban min/max; strong Power BI/Excel (SQL preferred).
- Advanced Power BI/SQL/Excel with automation/scripting; inventory planning/demand forecasting/MRP/ERP experience.
- Predictive modeling/ regression/correlation experience; ability to extract insights from complex data; scalable analytical solution track record.
- Strong project management, business acumen, financial/operational metrics understanding, and stakeholder-facing communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce, Smartsheet, or other BI tools; dashboard tools that drive execution/planning; warehouse/manufacturing environment experience.
- Production scheduling/capacity planning/BOM knowledge; statistical/ML modeling; Lean/Six Sigma; cross-functional data experience.
