Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Role: Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer supporting Moderna's global Infrastructure & Operations team, focusing on automating cloud, hybrid, and network infrastructure. Responsibilities: lead design, operation, troubleshooting, and support of automation workflows using Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell; develop Infrastructure-as-Code; create network automation and integrate with APIs and monitoring tools; mentor team members and enhance operational security and compliance. Requirements: Bachelor’s or related experience; 7+ years in infrastructure automation, cloud, and network automation; expertise in Ansible, IaC tools, and scripting languages; solid understanding of Linux/Windows, networking, and APIs. Preferred: certifications such as Red Hat, AWS, Azure, Cisco; experience with CI/CD pipelines, security frameworks (GxP, HIPAA, ISO, NIST); prior experience in regulated environments or life sciences.
