People Experience Operations (HR) Generalist

Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day HR operations for onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding
- Administer HR systems; maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy
- Manage HR compliance: employment law requirements, personnel records, policy administration, and audit readiness
- Partner with Payroll and Finance for compensation, benefits administration, and employee data management
- Develop and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, workflows, and SOPs
- Generate and analyze workforce metrics and HR reports
- Support annual HR programs (performance management, compensation planning, engagement, learning & development)
- Manage benefit programs and vendor relationships; resolve employee issues
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for seamless candidate-to-employee transitions and onboarding
- Support organizational changes, workforce planning, and special HR projects
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
- Maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee information

Qualifications:
- 5+ years (senior generalist) or 8+ years (manager level) progressive HR experience, including HR operations, HRIS administration, and employee lifecycle management
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance
- Experience partnering with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and external vendors
- Experience administering HRIS platforms; generating workforce analytics and reporting
- Strong project management; manage multiple priorities
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and HR technology platforms
- Experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical/life sciences or similarly regulated environment is a plus
