Position Summary
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic leader and trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving enterprise-level people strategies that enable business growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to Vice President and senior executive leaders, aligning people strategy with business objectives and growth priorities.
- Lead organizational design initiatives (team structuring, optimizing spans/layers, scalable growth).
- Develop and drive workforce planning strategies aligned to commercial expansion, clinical operations, and innovation.
- Lead enterprise talent management (succession planning, leadership development, talent segmentation).
- Provide executive coaching on leadership effectiveness, organizational health, and team performance.
- Use HR analytics/business data to generate insights and forecast workforce needs.
- Lead complex management initiatives (transformations, restructures, business scaling).
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence on enterprise HR solutions across compensation, talent acquisition, and development.
- Oversee and manage high-risk employee relations issues with Legal and Compliance.
- Drive culture and engagement strategies for a high-performance, mission-driven environment.
- Influence HR strategy; mentor HRBP team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years progressive HR experience, including strategic HRBP experience.
- Experience partnering with senior executives and leading organizational change.
- Ability to develop workforce strategies aligned to business outcomes.
- Strong business acumen (commercial, clinical, or operational exposure).
- Experience in organizational design, talent strategy, and leadership development.
- Exceptional communication/consulting/influencing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general internet use.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in life sciences/healthcare.
- Experience supporting high-growth organizations.
- Masterโs degree or MBA.
- HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
