Role Summary

Senior Health & Science Specialist, Amyloidosis Multi-Disciplinary Team, Rare Cardiac โ€“ San Francisco South/Fresno, CA. Provides disease awareness and strategic engagement with healthcare providers to accelerate new patient starts through increased disease state awareness in designated territories. Applies strong business acumen and in-depth knowledge of ATTR-CM and related procedures to develop and execute territory plans in collaboration with Rare Cardiac colleagues. Adheres to all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize customer opportunities and projects to maximize impact using data and stakeholder input
  • Develop territory business objectives and define key performance metrics aligned to brand objectives
  • Maintain active customer profiles, plans, and data sets in planning resources
  • Refine call planning to optimize schedules based on local territory factors
  • Utilize advanced selling skills and approved brand messaging to align with customer priorities
  • Educate customers on ATTR-CM and related diagnostic procedures to support patient identification and treatment
  • Demonstrate brand value and implement approved educational programs across customer segments
  • Coordinate with other customer-facing teams and SMEs to meet customer needs
  • Gather insights from customers to anticipate opportunities and threats, and apply insights to local planning
  • Engage in professional development to enhance capabilities; maintain integrity and compliance in promotional activities

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required OR an associateโ€™s degree with 8+ years of experience; or high school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to formulate, develop, write, and monitor territory business plans
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration history
  • Strong analytical skills with experience applying market and customer insights to planning and execution
  • Valid US driverโ€™s license with compliant driving record
  • Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary
