Role Summary

Senior Health & Science Specialist, Amyloidosis Multi-Disciplinary Team, Rare Cardiac – San Francisco South/Fresno, CA. Target health care providers across multiple specialties to drive ATTR-CM disease awareness and accelerate new patient starts through education and collaboration with Rare Cardiac colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Account Planning Collaboration: Prioritize opportunities, develop territory business objectives and performance metrics, maintain active customer profiles, and refine call planning based on local territory factors.
  • Hybrid Execution / Advanced Selling Skills: Utilize advanced selling approaches, align messaging with customer priorities, educate customers on ATTR-CM and diagnostic procedures, demonstrate brand value, implement educational programs, and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with other customer-facing teams and Subject Matter Experts to elevate the customer experience and accelerate internal processes.
  • Demonstrates Business Acumen: Gather customer insights, understand market dynamics, and apply data to local planning; prioritize resource utilization to meet customer needs.
  • Professional Development: Pursue ongoing learning, manage interpersonal strengths/limitations, and remain coachable to elevate capabilities.
  • Culture & Values: Share insights, engage leadership to drive innovation, provide candid feedback, ensure compliant use of promotional materials, and uphold company policies and high standards of conduct.

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum 5-10 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to formulate and monitor Territory business plans; strong teamwork and collaboration.
  • Required: Strong analytical skills with history of applying market/customer insights to inform sales planning and execution; ability to assess needs and bring relevant tools/resources to drive performance.
  • Required: Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards; ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary.

Skills

  • Advanced selling skills (e.g., PSSF) and ability to navigate complex local markets.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building with stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Expertise in ATTR-CM disease area, diagnostic procedures, and Vyndamax clinical profile (as appropriate).
  • Ability to educate customers on disease awareness and diagnostic procedures to support patient identification and treatment.
  • Change agility and the ability to act with incomplete information when needed.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Remote - Field Based work location; ability to drive and meet doctors in person; overnight travel required.
