Responsibilities include shaping global medical agendas through cross-functional leadership, driving evidence generation via clinical trials and real-world studies, and leveraging digital tools for scientific communication and stakeholder engagement. The role involves influencing healthcare systems, reimagining market dynamics, and fostering strategic partnerships with KOLs, regulatory bodies, and patient organizations. It requires championing disruptive solutions and ensuring AstraZeneca’s scientific leadership externally and internally. Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher with a minimum of 5 years in pharma or healthcare, with proven leadership in global healthcare environments, extensive experience in evidence generation (Phases 2–4, RWE), and deep understanding of healthcare pathways, regulation, and market access. Preferred: MD, PhD, or PharmD; therapeutic expertise in cardiovascular diseases; experience leading product launches; extensive network with key stakeholders. High-value specifics include emphasis on evidence-driven medical strategies, digital health integration, and complex stakeholder management across global markets. Location: Gaithersburg, MD or Boston, MA, requiring in-office presence 3 days/week.
