Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A Clinical Studies (Oncology Program Finance FP&A R&D), Foster City, CA

Responsibilities:
- Provide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for clinical study spend; partner with Oncology Clinical Operations and Finance stakeholders.
- Support month-end close (accrual reviews, variance analysis, reporting).
- Prepare forecasts/latest estimates, annual budgets, and long-range plans.
- Build/maintain financial models for resource planning, study forecasting, and business decisions.
- Produce monthly/periodic/ad hoc management reports, analytics, and presentations.
- Analyze budget vs. actuals; communicate drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Support financial analysis for development programs and external collaborations; enhance reporting tools/models/planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies/internal controls/financial reporting requirements.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects; participate in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Basic: Bachelor’s + 5 years experience OR Master’s + 3 years experience.
- Preferred: 4+ years relevant finance/FP&A/accounting; required advanced Excel & PowerPoint; experience with Oracle/Hyperion Planning/Essbase/Tableau (or similar); project reporting/operational accounting/financial reporting; strong analytical/organizational/problem-solving; excellent written/verbal communication; biotech/pharma/healthcare/R&D; CPA or MBA (plus).

Compensation/Benefits (if part of posting): Salary range $109,650–$141,900; may include discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
