Senior Financial Analyst

Role: Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis within Vericel's biopharma-focused manufacturing and development context. Primary objectives include partnering with functional leaders to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans; providing actionable insights through variance analysis and financial reporting; and supporting capital planning and resource allocation. Responsibilities encompass owning the monthly close process, developing financial models, preparing leadership presentations, and supporting strategic projects.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields; 5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial reporting tools is required; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.

High-Value: Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries preferred; familiarity with financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights); supporting senior leadership; and expertise in capital and headcount planning. Focus on supporting business units involved in cell therapies, regenerative medicine, and advanced biologics.

Work setup: In-office role based in Burlington, MA, with flexibility for remote work on Fridays. No travel specified.
