Senior Finance Manager

Role: Senior Finance Manager - R&D, serving as the primary finance partner to the Pharmaceutical Operations and Supply Chain (PSC) organization in biopharma. Responsibilities include developing financial forecasts, managing planning for CMC activities (manufacturing, validation, drug substance, testing), supporting month-end close, and providing strategic analyses. This role ensures financial discipline, drives results aligned with corporate goals, and fosters continuous improvement in financial literacy across PSC teams. The position involves partnering with PSC leaders, supporting clinical trial forecasting, and managing CAPEX planning, with ad hoc project involvement. Qualifications: BS/BA with 9+ years or MS/MBA with 7+ years in biotech/pharma finance; minimum 5 years of experience in CMC/technical operations forecasting and business-partner-facing finance roles. Expertise with financial systems (Oracle EPBCS, Hyperion, etc.) required. Skills include strong analytical, strategic problem-solving, business partnering, and communication abilities, with proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint. Experience in public biotech/pharma, especially in biopharma R&D finance, is essential. No travel required. Location: Office-based environment supporting collaboration and creativity.
