Senior Field Reimbursement Manager – HIV Prevention - Irvine, CA

Role: Area Reimbursement Manager – HIV Prevention, a field-based role focused on optimizing access and reimbursement strategies for Gilead’s HIV prevention products across large, complex health systems, IDNs, and national/regional accounts. Responsibilities: develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders, serve as reimbursement expert, lead cross-regional account strategies, assess systemic barriers, collaborate with internal teams to establish scalable reimbursement processes, and support account education and workflow optimization. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years or Master's/Ph.D. with 6+ years in pharmaceutical reimbursement, access, or market access roles; experience engaging with complex provider accounts, payers, and specialty pharmacies; strong influence and stakeholder management skills; willingness to travel up to 75%. Preferred: prior leadership or enterprise account experience, deep understanding of payer-provider relationships, familiarity with reimbursement pathways across payer segments, and experience with policy impacts. High-Value: focus on HIV prevention therapies, large multi-site health systems, specialty pharmacy collaboration, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement. Travel: extensive, across assigned regions. Work setup: remote/field-based with frequent in-person stakeholder engagement.
