Role Summary

Senior Field Medical Advisor (Sr. FMA) RMD/LSD (m/w/d) in Festanstellung. Responsible for implementing medical-scientific initiatives in the field, building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders, and contributing to project-based tasks in alignment with Medical Affairs plans and cross-functional collaboration. Implements omni-channel engagement tactics and ensures data-driven decision making to support health care delivery and therapeutic strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Key Opinion Leader Engagement: strategic external engagement with experts, collecting and sharing scientifically relevant information with cross-functional teams, identifying potential study centers, handling inquiries from HCPs for IISRs, and collaborating with Patient Engagement on patient support programs and needs assessments.
  • Project-based work: conduct regular trainings on diseases, unmet needs, and developments; organize and moderate advisory boards; plan and execute medical education formats; ensure compliant material creation/review; plan, conduct, analyze, and publish Real-World Studies; map KOLs and stakeholder networks; collaborate with brand teams; develop Medical Plans aligned with Brand Plans; identify and communicate medical trends; support data-driven decision making; ensure legal/compliance in OCE; design customer journeys using omnichannel tools; develop and execute medical communications plans; lead cross-functional projects within the German organization and with other country organizations.

Qualifications

  • Required: Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or a natural science field (preferably PhD).
  • Required: At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Medical Affairs in Lysosomal Storage Diseases or Rare Diseases.
  • Required: Proven ability for cross-functional collaboration and project leadership; experience working with other country organizations.
  • Required: Strong understanding of clinical developments and studies.
  • Required: Excellent presentation and communication skills in-person and virtual.
  • Required: Experience with AI-enabled platforms and tools.
  • Required: Strong understanding of Omni-Channel Engagement and integration into the Customer Journey.
  • Required: Knowledge of clinical development, regulations, and marketing (Code).
  • Required: Experience organizing events with external opinion leaders; experience creating Medical Plans and budget responsibility.
  • Required: Experience planning, organizing, and conducting projects and studies; track record of supporting new therapies to launch; experience training staff and delivering medical trainings.
  • Required: Agility, teamwork, and enjoyment of cross-disciplinary collaboration; flexible time management and willingness to travel; fluent German and very good English; proficient MS Office and strong project management skills.

Education
