Senior Field Clinical Coordinator - Galafold and Pom/Op, West

Role: Senior Clinical Coordinator supporting BioMarin’s patient access and education for rare disease therapies, primarily in a field-based, patient-centric role. Responsibilities: coordinate patient onboarding from referral to therapy initiation, collaborate with clinics, specialty pharmacies, and internal teams to ensure timely treatment, educate patients and providers on disease management and therapy administration, secure insurance and prior authorization, report adverse events, and uphold compliance standards. Serve as a regional leader, influencing cross-functional teams, developing best practices, and contributing to strategic initiatives. Requirements: minimum 6+ years in pharmaceutical patient education or related healthcare role; allied health professional degree (preferably BSN or advanced); strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce; willingness to travel at least 50%, ideally residing in California near a major airport. Preferred: prior sales experience and experience managing cross-functional communications. High-value biopharma specifics: focus on rare genetic conditions, biologics and enzyme therapies, involved in post-market patient support, with significant field travel and cross-functional stakeholder interaction.
