Duties:
- Develop, maintain, and support the global utilization of Enterprise Manufacturing Execution Systems (EMES) to produce medicine across the digital manufacturing network.
- Design, build, test, and deliver standard and custom EMES capabilities; collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions.
- Support/administer EMES to minimize manufacturing disruptions by overseeing central and site-level development, test, and production systems.
- Contribute to knowledge management (content generation and mentoring); identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities.
- Promote compliance with data integrity and computer system validation requirements; assess change impact to validated state.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days/week; up to 10% domestic travel as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years progressive related experience.
- Must have 5 years experience designing/building/deploying/supporting automation and execution systems (e.g., Syncade, DeltaV, PI Data historian) in regulated manufacturing.
- Must have 5 years experience creating/executing validation plans, test cases, documentation, and audits in regulated industries (pharma/med devices/manufacturing).
- Must have 5 years experience implementing IT/automation solutions, including troubleshooting and SME-level site support.
- Must have 3 years experience applying IT solutions to optimize manufacturing operations using MES/ERP/automation platforms.
- Must have 3 years experience in at least three: digital manufacturing systems/operations; material & inventory; order management; equipment & instrument integration; sample management; patient scheduling integration; label printing; automatic recipe functionality; custom business recipe; batch reporting/analytics.
