Position Summary
Senior District Business Manager (DBM) for Cardiovascular (field-based) supporting adoption of assigned BMS medicines with Health Care Providers (HCPs).
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of ~6–10 Territory Account Specialists (TASs) to drive adoption and generate demand.
- Coach TASs on learning objectives (selling skills, scientific engagement, digital capabilities); conduct ride-alongs for priority HCPs.
- Ensure continuous improvement of TAS core skills/behavior (scientific agility, patient mindset, digital agility, analytical mindset).
- Champion adoption of digital capabilities/tools (e.g., CE^3 analytics, content personalization; Medical on Call).
- Use CE^3 insights to guide call planning/preparation; convene field team for feedback and adoption support.
- Execute district planning (promo program planning, budget planning, HCP tumor prioritization); prioritize accounts using insights and lead financial/program planning.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) + minimum 5 years pharmaceutical/related industry experience.
- Proven track record inspiring/leading teams to meet/exceed goals; selecting/developing/retaining talent.
- Analytical skills, selling skills, business acumen, knowledge of pharmaceutical value chain.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Prior District Business Manager experience in Pharmaceutical Sales (or equivalent team leadership).
- Pharma experience, including reimbursement processes, access, and distribution environment.
Additional Requirement
- Must meet “Qualified Driver” criteria (company vehicle use): at least 21, valid driver’s license in good standing.
Compensation & Benefits (high level)
- Field (US): $168,130–$203,734 base range; eligibility for incentive cash/stock.
