Position Summary
- Accountable for leading, coaching, and motivating a team of ~6β10 TASs to drive adoption of the BMS Cardiovascular portfolio and generate demand.
- Field-based; anticipated to spend 100% of time in the field with TASs.
- Lead business/account planning; champion new digital capabilities/tools (e.g., Medical on Call, CE^3).
Key Responsibilities
- Coach TASs on learning objectives/competencies (scientific agility, customer/commercial mindset, change agility, teamwork/enterprise mindset); conduct ride-alongs as relevant.
- Ensure continuous improvement in core skills/behaviors (scientific agility, patient mindset, digital agility, analytical mindset).
- Champion adoption of new capabilities (CE^3 analytics, content personalization); role model tool use and coach CE^3 to guide call planning.
- Execute strategic planning (promo program planning, budget planning, HCP tumor prioritization); prioritize accounts using insights; improve customer experience; lead district financial/program planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent) + minimum 5 years pharma/related industry experience.
- Strongly preferred: prior District Business Manager experience or equivalent leading/managing high-performing sales teams.
- Strongly preferred: pharma experience, including reimbursement processes/access/distribution.
- Proven track record inspiring/leading, and selecting/developing/retaining talent.
- Prior use of analytical and selling skills; strong business acumen; knowledge of pharmaceutical value chain.
- Qualified Driver requirements for company vehicle (age 21+, valid license, acceptable driving risk).
Compensation/Benefits
- Field (US): $168,130β$203,734 base; additional incentive cash/stock may be available.
