Role: Lead strategic development and governance of AI and advanced analytics solutions within Pfizer's Vaccines Medical portfolio. Objectives include transforming medical affairs through AI-driven evidence generation, scientific communications, insights, and field support, ensuring solutions are scientifically rigorous, compliant, and meet medical needs. Responsibilities involve defining the AI strategy and roadmap, advising senior leadership, establishing responsible AI frameworks, prioritizing high-impact use cases, overseeing end-to-end solution delivery, influencing enterprise AI architecture, and driving change management and training. The role requires integrating input from cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance in AI deployment. Qualifications: MD with 5+ years in Medical Affairs or related scientific fields, or PhD with 7+ years; at least 5 years applying AI/advanced analytics in scientific or medical environments, including experience with machine learning, NLP, or generative AI; strong knowledge of medical strategy, evidence generation, and experience operating in regulated environments. Preferred: experience in vaccines and influencing global medical/scientific strategy. The position is hybrid, based within commuting distance, with some on-site work (~2.5 days/week). It involves leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder influence, and managing AI investments to deliver measurable medical impact.
