Role: Senior Director, U.S. Advocacy and Society Relations in Lilly's Oncology Business Unit, focusing on building and managing relationships with cancer patient advocacy organizations (PAOs), professional medical societies, and coalitions to support oncology portfolio advancements. Responsibilities: develop strategic partnerships, align PAO/society priorities with medical strategies, facilitate collaboration on clinical and policy initiatives, and ensure compliance with governance standards. Partner with disease state teams to incorporate patient/provider insights into clinical development and regulatory activities; collaborate with government affairs to advocate for supportive policies; oversee funding, sponsorships, and external engagement activities; support internal communication and executive outreach. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years’ experience working with or within patient advocacy or medical societies; ability to travel up to 35-40%, including domestic and occasional international trips. Preferred: Master’s or advanced degree in health sciences or public policy; deep knowledge of hematologic cancers and advocacy; strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic skills; experience in healthcare policy, access, and oncology landscape.
