General Summary:
- Lead the national Strategic Accounts field team for the US Pain Business Unit. Manage three regional Directors of Strategic Accounts (first-line leaders), each managing Strategic Account Leads, to drive integrated delivery networks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach Directors/Strategic Account Leads; retain top talent; define national strategy and ensure exceptional performance.
- Set and update Health System goals tied to access/demand aspirations; track performance vs. expectations and adjust strategies.
- Execute/refine the account management model via an account planning process/framework; identify enterprise opportunities to ensure preferred access and top-down demand.
- Explore innovative partnerships for preferred access to an innovative non-opioid (e.g., population health initiatives, contracting, etc.).
- Engage Health Systems leadership, coverage decision makers, and population health stakeholders to drive systemic change.
- Ensure adoption of digital and innovative customer engagement approaches.
- Collaborate with BU Leadership and BU Health Systems marketing to shape/refine brand strategy, including IDN engagement approach.
- Partner cross-functionally (market access, sales/marketing, compliance, field ops, HR, etc.) and role-model compliance/ethics.
Requirements:
- 12+ years healthcare/biopharma experience in marketing (or equivalent).
- 5+ years supervisory/management experience (or equivalent).
- Experience developing/refining Health System engagement strategies and leading Health System account field teams.
- Bachelorโs degree; Masterโs preferred.
- Proven IDN stakeholder expertise (access and demand levers).
- Strong people recruiting and leadership; exceptional executive communication and customer service.
- Long-term planning, critical thinking, and sound decision-making.
- Demonstrated legal/regulatory/compliance understanding.
- Entrepreneurial, data/technology-enabled approach to launch.
Other Requirements:
- Complete customer credentialing/training and may require background screens, drug testing, and vaccinations.
- Live and work within the territory; may need to be near a major airport.
- Valid driverโs license.
- Travel up to 80%; work after hours as needed.
Compensation:
- Pay range: $232,000โ$348,000. Eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
